
Meet the team
Cam
Cameron is the director of BEST. He has a broad range of experience with over 10 years working within sports, musculoskeletal, chronic pain, disability and neurological physiotherapy. His experience within these fields includes working with the Chinese Olympic team and working with professional tennis players on the WTA and ATP tours.
Cameron has completed his titling process through the Australian Physiotherapy Association making him a Senior Titled Physiotherapist. (A sign of distinction in the field and significant further learning). Cameron has also been published several times for work looking at neurological conditions and interventions for chronic pain. In his spare time he is also completing a PhD within neurological physiotherapy.
Kathryn
Kathryn is the background guru at BEST. Kathryn loves a degree and study, having multiple Masters degrees from Melbourne University and Deakin in arts, science and accounting. Kath also loves her cycling and is an avid reader. If you ever need a reading recommendation she’s your go to.
Matt
Matt is our exercise science guru. Matt has degrees in Personal Training and Exercise Sports Science from Victoria university. Matt is also an accredited ASCA strength and conditioning coach as well as a senior level 2 tennis coach (I know right, super impressive). Matt is also a professional tennis player with a ranking in the top 100 Australian players for over 5 years. Matt has extensive experience treating and training a variety of conditions and has the skills and experience to help anyone achieve their physical goals.
Kendra
Kendra is our superstar speech pathologist. Kendra has almost a decade of experience within the speech world, working within a broad range of fields all around the world. Kendra is adept at social communication building techniques and prides herself on helping her clients achieve their goals. Kendra loves to travel and has some amazing stories from her trips all around the world she also speaks fluent french and is known to Bollywood dance on occasion.
Jehan
What to say about Jehan… Olympic strength and conditioning coach for the most successful Chinese weight lifting team of all time!!! Previously worked as the strength and conditioning man at Melbourne storm and now works part time in as the strength and conditioning coach for Geelong Football Club.
In Jehans 10+years in the industry he has done some incredible things and worked with a wide variety of people but that’s not why we love him. We love him because he is one of the most down to earth friendliest people you will ever meet with a super infectious smile. Jehan has the skills, experience and personality to achieve any and all goals placed in front of him.
Kate
Kate is our super passionate, friendly and all around great person OT.
Kate is exceptionally skilled in childhood development and has the ability, skills and passion to improve and assist with a wide variety of functional goals.
Steph
Steph is our amazing practice manager. Steph has years of experience managing as well as fantastic life experience in travelling and living all around the world. There is nothing she can’t handle!!
Steph is also a strong advocate for disability and those less fortunate, to this end she is studying community advocacy to help improve the voices of those with challenges in the community. Steph is incredibly nice and always up for a chat. Truly a great person to have around on the team.
Shaeley
Shaeley is our super experienced and super friendly physio.
She has extensive experience throughout hospital and private disability settings. Its astounding how much knowledge she has, which she uses to get incredible outcomes for everyone she’s involved with.
Yan
Yan is our neuro-rehabilitation physiotherapist guru. Yan has achieved a post-graduate title for neuro-rehabilitation. When not with us Yan runs the rehab ward at St Vincent’s.
Yan has also worked all over Australia and has competed at the highest level for Karate.
Ash
Ash: Ash has experience working in disability and within community advocacy. She’s just an all around great person.
Ash is a big ‘doggo’ person who is all about a walk on the beach and doggy date.
Bryce
Bryce is a salt of the earth therapy assistant. Bryce has a wealth of knowledge with a masters degree in kinesiology. Bryce has an innate gift for helping people achieve their goals.
Bryce genuinely loves helping people, being involved in multiple community charities and programs to assist disadvantage and improve equality.
